A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Taku Winds and Barrow Arctic Blast.

Winds left fielder Tony Castro put his stamp on his team's 9-4 win over the Barrow Arctic Blast. Castro was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Taku in the contest. Taku is now 15-15, while Barrow is 16-14.

Taku used a clutch at-bat from Jorge Ortíz to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Winds ahead, 7-2. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"You never take a win for granted in this league," said Ortíz.
