Conditions were not ideal but Homer and Akutan Island were able to put their game in the books.
Homer right-hander Gabriel Gutiérrez pitched his team to victory over the Akutan Island Eagles at Enfield Grounds. The final score was 4-1. The winner was Gutiérrez. He threw 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Eric Clark. The save was credited to Obiniana Lindo, his 1st.
