Gunslingers Rally to Nose Past Akutan Island
The Dawson City Gunslingers topped the Akutan Island Eagles, 4-3, in 13 innings at Ballpark of Dawson City. The game was highlighted by the performance of Dawson City pitcher Dan Wallace. Gyu-hyun So snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Alfredo Anzaldo suffered the loss. The Eagles, now 7-13, continue their inauspicious start.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the 13th for Dawson City. That's when Zachary Coleman hit a solo home run off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Alfredo Anzaldo to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"My job is to go out and execute," said Wallace.
