A 3-RBI performance from designated hitter Stu Dillard led the Lincoln Emancipation to a win over the Kyoto Rodan, 5-1. Otte Overgaag, the winner, improved to 5-3. He held Kyoto to 1 run on 4 hits over 6.1 innings, while racking up 6 strikeouts. The third-place Emancipation hiked their record to 27-27.

Early in the game, Dillard had a 2-run home run for Lincoln. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Emancipation on top, 2-0.
