This is our first year handling waiver claims in game. Waiver claims in online leagues under OOTP 2007/8 were undeniably broken. OOTP 9 seems to have rectified that problem - at least I'm not aware that any claims are being incorrectly left unprocessed. However, this isn't something that's easy for me to check on my own.
So my question to you all is: Have any of you experienced problems during the 2009 season with OOTP failing to process your player waiver claims? Before you answer, consider whether any claims in question were actually erroneously left unprocessed or if the game correctly denied your claim and just didn't provide you with feedback. The latter situation is a known issue with the game; it's notoriously poor at informing owners why a claim was denied. If you're certain that you've lost claims that should have been processed, though, I'd be interested to hear about it.

Re: Requesting feedback Re: Waiver claims
My gut hunch is the issue has been rectified. I have made many waiver claims, and not a single issue that I can report. Being near the top of the food chain this season when it comes to waivers, the claims have either gone through or I could see clearly why they did not, such as were pulled back or team with higher priority, etc. Also, on players I have myself waived, it has also clearly reported to me any claims. Just my two and a half cents, hope it helps.

Re: Requesting feedback Re: Waiver claims
Let's see
I waived Arthur Myers.
Manchester claimed Arthur Myers, according to my inbox.
Yet, Myers clears waivers and he is still on my roster.
I am told that I must have put him on revocable waivers, but
A. I never do that
B. Why would I do that when I am trying to dump Myers salary for the last month of the season?
The game obviously screwed the pooch (and San Antonio) on this one.

Re: Requesting feedback Re: Waiver claims
I can confirm that I claimed Myers; I wanted him as depth for the last month of the season. The game told me that SA had revoked him, which surprised me. Now I see that it surprised Matt as well!Calzones wrote:Let's see

Just another manifestation of the Auroran Axis of Evil that is disfiguring our fair league.

doesn't there need to be more than one team to have an axis?

Re: Requesting feedback Re: Waiver claims
Same as last sim. Two players placed on waivers, both were claimed according to my inbox, both still in my DFA and have cleared waivers.
It's borked.

Re: Requesting feedback Re: Waiver claims
Sadly, you're correct: it's borked. Per this announcement, we will be returning to a forum-based player waiver claim system starting with Monday's sim. Thank you for the feedback.
