Star of the Week Honored in AL Monday, April 25th , 2039 San Juan College Oceans right fielder Gerard Ailen had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the Atlantic League named him Player of the Week. Ailen banged out 14 hits in 29 at-bats on the way to a .483 batting average. He also racked up 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and 8 runs scored. This season Ailen is batting .239 with 44 hits and 6 home runs. He has scored 15 times and has 18 RBI. |
