McCoy 5-for-7 Against Indiana Tuesday, March 6th , 2040 Arizona State center fielder Jeff McCoy could do no wrong in today's 8-4 win over the Big Daddies as he collected 5 hits. "Things were in his favor in every one of his at-bats," Big Daddies skipper Parker Cochran said to the press corps after the game. "He got hitters' counts." McCoy agreed, saying that getting ahead early in the counts was "the key" to his game. "Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit," he said. "You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready." Jeff McCoy grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, grounded out in the 8th, doubled in the 11th, singled in the 13th and hit an RBI single in the 14th.
