Hits Galore: Padilla Drills 5 Hits Sunday, April 25th , 2038 Ohio State second baseman Adam Padilla had a big day at Ballpark of Ohio State today against the Pittsburgh Cathedrals. The 18-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-6 and led the Scarlet Brutes to a 10-7 triumph over Pittsburgh. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Padilla said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Adam Padilla singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Ron Hunter in the 7th, singled in the 9th and doubled in the 11th.
