Jade Breakers Machado and Starbursts Voss Suspended for Fight Friday, April 16th , 2038 If there wasn't a history between Ángel Machado of Tulane and Eldon Voss of Villanova, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 3 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Machado said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." To date Machado has chalked up a .209 average with 5 home runs, driven in 20 runs and scored 9 times. This year Voss has a 2-1 record and a 2.57 ERA. |
