Red-Hot Márquez Scorches Archers Monday, March 22nd , 2038 Juan Márquez was at the head of a Seton Hall hit parade today at Rampage Stadium. The first baseman went to the plate 6 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Rampage to a 17-5 victory over the Iowa Archers. "I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Márquez told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today." Archers skipper David Robert said later that the club gave up "too much plate." "Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Juan Márquez hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off William O'Brien in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.
