Rapidos Blancos Prevail, as Wild Card Goes to the Wire Tuesday, September 13th , 2039 The San Luis Rio Colorado Rapidos Blancos and Rosarito Monjas del Vuelo left it all on the field in the Wild Card. The evenly-matched series featured a bit of everything and in the end, San Luis Rio Colorado won the final game 8-4 to win the series 3-2. "Full credit to Rosarito, they played a great series and pushed us to the limit. But we're a tough team to beat. The guys are playing with a lot of confidence now," said Xisto Tamayo, who was named the series MVP for San Luis Rio Colorado. Tamayo had a 1.50 ERA over 12 innings pitched.
