Medicine Hat Loses Sean Weaver, Will Miss Season Monday, August 29th , 2039 The season is finished for Sean Weaver of the Medicine Hat Drillers. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Drillers first baseman suffered a torn labrum while making a defensive play in a recent game against the Hamilton Industrialists. Team doctors said it would take at least 6-7 months to heal. Presently Weaver is batting .323 with 2 home runs and 8 RBIs. He has played in 54 games and scored 24 times. |
