Delaware Eliminated from Playoff Contention Tuesday, August 23rd , 2039 Any small glimmer of hope that the Delaware Diamonds might have had that they could make a miracle turnaround and win their way into relevancy has been extinguished. The team was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. This is the club's 5th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2034. In total, the Diamonds have missed the playoffs 30 times in their 33-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Diamonds have only made the playoffs once. |
