Toyama Loses Daichi Chishu, Will Miss Season Tuesday, June 19th, 2029 The season is ending on a bad note for Daichi Chishu, starting pitcher for the Toyama Wind Dancers. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Chishu was hurt against the Canton Longshoremen while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn back muscle and will be out for at least 5 months. On the year Chishu has worked 20.1 innings with 14 strikeouts en route to a 2-0 record and 1.33 ERA. |
