San Juan Newcomer May's #1 Rookie Friday, June 1st, 2029 For a man of advanced years in baseball terms, Luis Bonilla is defying all logic by wading through his first Imperial League season. Nonetheless, Bonilla is proving a formidable performer for San Juan, at least as far as this past May is concerned. Today he was hailed as the Imperial League Rookie of the Month. He put up a .248 average with 8 home runs, 28 RBIs and 16 runs scored. So far this season Bonilla is hitting .249 with 12 home runs. |
