2-Game Suspension for Codgers Reyes Thursday, May 10th, 2029 Palm Springs's Orlando Reyes has been given a 2-game suspension for his outburst following an ejection in a recent game with the Duluth Warriors at Doyle Buhl Stadium. He was called out on a third strike by the plate umpire and halted the game to argue about it. The disgusted Reyes slowly walked back to the dugout with bat in hand, but suddenly turned around and headed toward the umpire. He was stopped by the on-deck hitter and third base coach as his manager continued to argue the call. A moment later, Reyes was ejected. For the season Reyes has hit .246 with 5 home runs and 9 RBIs. He has played in 17 games and scored 11 times. |
