Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for Amsterdam Monday, September 4th, 2028 Fans of the Amsterdam Lions have long since given up hope of the club making a serious playoff push this season. But now those hopes are officially gone, as the club was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. The Lions have missed the playoffs 16 times in their 21 years as a Planetary Extreme Baseball Alliance franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2021. In the last 10 seasons, the Lions have missed the playoffs 5 times. |
