Sovereign League Names Rookie of Month Tuesday, August 1st, 2028 Steve Boyer earned July's Rookie of the Month honors in the Sovereign League for last month's performance. The boyish Reno center fielder might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. Boyer hit .307 with 5 home runs, 12 RBIs and 14 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. This season Boyer has hit at a .245 clip and produced 37 runs batted in, 16 home runs and 43 runs. |
