Akira Matthews to Miss Year Tuesday, March 10th, 2026 John Matthews has to call it a season. The Neo-Tokyo Akira starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Yuma Bulldozers and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Matthews was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 11 months. |
