Sovereign League Names Top Player Monday, October 6th, 2025 Dave Petersen went on a week-long tirade against the Sovereign League pitchers and was acclaimed the Player of the Week. The Palm Springs first baseman was hot as a firecracker, exploding with a .467 average, 2 home runs and 9 RBIs. For the week Petersen bashed out 14 hits in 30 at-bats and scored 8 runs.
