Smith Earns July's Best Pitcher Honor Friday, August 1st, 2025 Veteran Randy Smith put together quite a successful stretch in July for the Aurora Borealis, earning himself the Sovereign League Pitcher of the Month award. Smith racked up a 6-0 record in 6 starts, posting a 1.93 ERA over 42 innings and striking out 43. On the season Smith has compiled a 14-2 mark with a 2.09 ERA in 20 starts. In pitching 137.2 innings he has 128 strikeouts and 18 walks while limiting the opposition to a .214 batting average. |
