The Aurora Borealis got a magnificent effort from pitcher Armando Batista, who kept Bakersfield hitters in check en route to a 1-0 Borealis win at The Oaks at Aera Field. With the win, Aurora has a record of 33-29. Bakersfield falls to 23-39.
The Bears had trouble solving Batista, who surrendered no runs on 3 hits over 7.2 innings.
