Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Mariachis
Pitcher Miguel Reyes was sensational for the Ciudad Acuna Mariachis in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Guadalupe Frijoles de Dios. Reyes picked up the win, and it was well-earned. Reyes picked up the win for Ciudad Acuna, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 2-2. Raúl Slocock nailed down his 2nd save.

Ciudad Acuna used the timely hitting of Luis Salazar to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Mariachis ahead, 4-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Reyes.
