The Sarnia Canada Baysiders stymied the Oxford Dark Blues, 6-2, at Oxford Pitch. Matthew Pollock had a good day at the plate. He went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times for Sarnia Canada. Sarnia Canada, at 8-4, occupies first place in the Atlantic League Ontario Division.
Mike Batchelor, the 19-year old shortstop , had a direct impact on the outcome. Batchelor contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put Sarnia Canada up, 4-0.
