Late Rally by Black Bears Secures 2-1 Win
The Chatham-Kent Canada Black Bears beat the Cambridge Light Blues, 2-1, at Cambridge Grounds. Starting pitcher Carlos Prado was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Chatham-Kent Canada reliever Joe Caird picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Stuart Davies absorbed the loss. Emmett Rowe was credited with the save for Chatham-Kent Canada, his 1st of the season.

Chatham-Kent Canada used a clutch hit from Robun Ando to get the win. The shortstop drilled a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Black Bears ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

Ando told a Chatham-Kent Canada Times reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.

The Black Bears, now 3-0, have stormed out of the gates.
