The Toronto Phantoms topped the Edmonton Mall Ratz, 6-4, in Pacific Alliance action at Phantoms Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Toronto pitcher Pedro Vela. Mark Thomas earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. His record is now 2-0. The first-place Phantoms raised their record to 48-17.

Rafael Ramos chipped in for Toronto, stroking a crucial run-scoring double in the bottom of the seventh inning. For the game, the designated hitter was 1-3 with a double and a walk.
