Troika Take Down Koalas, 2-1, in 10

The Meiji University Troika took University of Queensland pitcher Noritada Maeda's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Velociraptors Ballpark. The final score had Meiji University getting past the Koalas, 2-1. Maeda went 8 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 4. Meiji University is now 4-3.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Meiji University catcher Iemitsu Fujita, facing Pu-feng Pedley, had a run-scoring single. It gave the Troika the 2-1 win.
"This is a resilient bunch," said Meiji University manager Yong-sup Chong.
