Lamberti Impressive in Reno Win
Carmelo Lamberti was outstanding against Toyama. The right-hander, who is tied for 4th in the SL in innings pitched with 67.1, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Zephyrs 5-0 win. Reno is now 26-21, while Toyama is 25-24.

It was a masterful performance from the popular Lamberti, who notched 9 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 2 hits. Lamberti, who is tied for 10th in the SL with a 0.98 WHIP, goes to 5-1 on the year with 56 strikeouts.

"I got in a good groove," said Lamberti. "I was getting some swings and misses."
