Montlake Malamutes Paste 2-1 Loss on Rampage
|
Washington starter Lou Milton pitched effectively against the Seton Hall Rampage at Rampage Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a win, 2-1. Milton went 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 2, and struck out 1. His record improves to 2-1. The save went to José González, number 2 for him.
Ray Brown, the 21-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Brown contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Washington up, 2-1.
"Hard work doesn't always translate into wins," said Milton philosophically. "Things fell right for us today."
The loss makes Seton Hall 12-17.
