Moccasins Fall to Suns, 4-3
|
Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Kingston Suns and Nampa Moccasins.
Kingston beat Nampa on the strength of starter Fu-quan Feng's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. Kingston currently is in second place in the Amber Waves League Intercontinental at 63-43.
Guillermo López had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for Kingston. He came through with a 2-run single to put Kingston in front, 4-1.
After the game, Kingston manager Jack Bailey applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
