Twin Titans Down Battleships, 5-3
|
Randy Horton helped his team muscle past the Bismarck Battleships, 5-3. In the game, the Jackson Hole center fielder was 5 for 7 with a home run, a triple, and 2 doubles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Jackson Hole reliever Bernie Flores got the win, raising his record to 3-4. Adam MacKay was tagged with the loss. The save was credited to Claudio Casillas, his 6th.
The game was all tied up in the top of the 11th, until Horton delivered big-time for Jackson Hole, stroking a dramatic 2-run home run off Adam MacKay. The game-changing hit put the Twin Titans on top, 5-3.
"Good win for us," said Horton. "Now we'll focus on the next one."
With the win, the Twin Titans improved to 51-20.
