A 5-RBI performance from the 21-year old second baseman Dermott Douglass helped the Alexandria Macedonians beat the Portsmouth Dockhands, 18-7. Pablo Pérez, the winner, improved to 3-0. He held the Dockhands to 3 runs on 4 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 2. Bert Díaz got credit for the save for Alexandria. It was his 1st of the year.

Donny Roks, who is tied for 9th in the AWL in RBI with 14, aided the Alexandria cause with a 2-run single in the top of the second. For the game, the designated hitter was 2 for 7 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI.
