Andrew Trewhitt was a major factor in the 5-4 Laval win over Brampton. The Islanders third baseman was 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Laval reliever Roble Cheja was the winner. His record is now 1-1. Rubén Martínez took the loss. Manuel Bidet earned save number 6 this season.
Trewhitt had a clutch at-bat in the bottom of the seventh for the Islanders. Coming up with the bases loaded and Laval trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run single.
