Flores Delivers Walk-Off Win for Islanders
Robinson García had a hand in Laval defeating Kumamoto by the score of 6-5. García went 3 for 4 at the plate, scoring 1 times and driving in 2 runs. Laval reliever Jermaine Livingston picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Kevin Benjamin took the loss. Laval, now 23-27, holds down 4th place in the Pacific Alliance Maple Leaf.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Laval trailing 5-3, Félix Flores jumped on a full count curveball from Kevin Benjamin for a 3-run home run, sending the Islanders to a walk-off win.

"We'll savor this win," Flores told the Laval Daily, "then get ready for the next game."
