Bokors Suffer 4-3 Setback
|
The Port-au-Prince Bokors got a superb performance from designated hitter Steve Anderson, but the Maine Lobsters still won the game, 4-3. Anderson hit 2 home runs. John Murphy got the save, the 11th for him this season. The Lobsters saw their record improve to 84-41.
Maine used the timely hitting of Zhong-xian Pak to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Lobsters on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
"There are times you get yourself out and there are times you come through," Pak said. "That's how it goes."
