Bokors Rally For 6-3 Win
|
The Bokors grabbed a win, 6-3, at Ballpark of Maine, overcoming a fine effort from Maine pitcher Norberto Hernández. Hernández went 7 innings and allowed 3 runs. The winner in relief was Bei Joe. He is now 3-3. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. With the win over Maine, the Bokors improved to 32-46.
Port-au-Prince used the timely hitting of Steve Anderson to capture the win. The pinch hitter socked a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Bokors ahead, 6-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a big one.
"We'll take some time to unwind," said Anderson, "and then get after it again."
