The Rockville Reckoning had to overcome a big game from Narragansett designated hitter Toshiro Motsuzuki to leave Argonauts Ballpark with a victory. And they did, winning 8-7. Motsuzuki was 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 triples, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. The win was credited to Ruy Monte in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Kinji Mori took the loss. At 26-25, the Reckoning find themselves in second place in the Atlantic Alliance South.

José Carlos González was the walk-off hero for Rockville. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Reckoning right fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said González.
