Ruíz Lifts Dykes to 13-4 Win
Den Bosch took on Youngstown in front of a lively crowd.

Pablo Ruíz had a big hand in Den Bosch's 13-4 triumph over Youngstown. He rattled off 4 hits in 5 at-bats, scoring 3 times and knocking in 3 runs. Picking up the save was Kensaku Shini, his 2nd.

The Dykes got an important contribution from shortstop Kevin Polwarth, who in the bottom of the fourth punched a 2-1 fastball into left-center for a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Dykes ahead, 4-3.

"I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more,'" Polwarth told the Den Bosch Daily. "You win just by scoring more runs."

With the loss, Youngstown falls to 2-9.
