The San Juan Sharks started the Semifinales in style today, downing the visiting Trujillo Alto Maracas at Ballpark of San Juan by a score of 6-2 to grab an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Sharks right fielder Bernard Myers was 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the sixth when Myers, who finished 4th in the SJWL-PR WL in triples with 3 in 2037, hit a run-scoring single. It propelled the Sharks into the lead, 2-1.

"We're one game closer to our goal," San Juan manager Arthur Cox said later. "It isn't any more complicated than that."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of San Juan in San Juan.
