Reckoning Rally Past Seagulls for 2-1 Series Lead
The 23-year-old rookie on the mound turned out to be the least of the Narragansett Seagulls worries.

Giving a high-pressure playoff start to youngster Sergio Montáñez seemed like a risky move for the Seagulls, but it was one of the few things that went right at Argonauts Ballpark today. Montáñez tossed 7 solid innings, but it was all for naught after Narragansett dropped a 3-2 decision. With the win, Rockville took a 2-1 lead in the best-of-5 Wild Card.

Gualtiero Pedrazzolli was the walk-off hero for Rockville. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Reckoning catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's hard to overstate how much this mattered to us, especially in a short series," Rockville manager Gunnar Cameron said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Argonauts Ballpark in Rockville.
