Zhoushan HS Win to Pull Even With Port Lincoln HS
|
In a crucial game, the Zhoushan HS Islanders put on their best show, beating the Port Lincoln HS Trawlers by a final score of 3-1 today. Isaac Mckinna threw 5.2 innings of 4-hit ball. Zhoushan HS and Port Lincoln HS are now tied at 1 wins apiece in the best-of-7 affair.
Wei Au, the 15-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Au contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the third inning to put Zhoushan HS up, 1-0.
"Every team in baseball loses," Trawlers manager Marcos Sotelo said. "We're in the playoffs and we still have the same guys that got us here. We'll bounce back."
The next game is set to be played for Friday, April 27th , 2040 at Zhoushan Ballpark in Ningbo.
