Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Hounds
Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Point Grey HS Hounds and the Nassau HS Coasters. Point Grey HS won it, 1-0. Point Grey HS starter Ray Dumont was in command. Jack Meadows, now 3-3, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 2 and walking 0. At 20-21, the Hounds claim 5th place in the Atlantic Conference Canadian Division.

The Hounds procured the win, in large part because of left fielder Chris Baker. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring double.

"You know what they say," Dumont told reporters after the game. "It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings."
