The Guantanamo HS Diamond Cats tallied a win at Ballpark of Guantanamo, throttling the Island HS Wonders, 3-2. Starting pitcher Daniel Martínez was a big reason for his team's success. Guantanamo HS now has a 4-game win streak.

Alex Pinnell was the walk-off hero for Guantanamo HS. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Diamond Cats pinch hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

Martínez said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
