Chatham-Kent Canada Gets 4-1 Road Win
|
The Chatham-Kent Canada Black Bears torpedoed the ETH Zurich Physicists at ETH Accelerator Field. The final score was 4-1, Chatham-Kent Canada. Joseph Oulton went 3-for-4 for the winning team. Emmett Rowe recorded his 7th save for Chatham-Kent Canada. Chatham-Kent Canada bumps their record to 13-17 with the win.
It could have been a different outcome for Chatham-Kent Canada, had it not been for Ray Lamb, the 20-year old right fielder . Lamb contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Chatham-Kent Canada up, 2-0.
Oulton said his wife shared good advice with him before the game. "She said, 'Don't allow this game to make you mad.' When I thought about it, I realized this is just a game. I was able to relax at the plate."
