Dragons Earn 2-1 Win Versus Sherpas
The UAB Dragons got a stellar performance from pitcher Jason Hall, who handcuffed the West Virginia offense en route to a win, 2-1, at Sherpas Ballpark. Roberto Gómez got credit for the save for UAB. It was his 16th of the year. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for UAB.

UAB used a timely hit from Jack MacLaine to get the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Dragons ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Hall told the UAB News.
