Toa Baja Gringos starter Ángel López had all his pitches working at Toa Baja Fields. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-2 Toa Baja win over the Aguadilla Roadrunners. López went the distance for Toa Baja. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. The win puts the Gringos at 12-10, while the Roadrunners drop to 12-10.

The Gringos got an important contribution from first baseman Edgar Canseco, who in the bottom of the third punched a first pitch splitter into center for a run-scoring double. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Gringos ahead, 2-0.
