A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Azua Zafiros Blanco and Puerto Plata Playas Dorada.
Azua right fielder Juan Morales had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Puerto Plata Playas Dorada, 4-1. Ramón Manuel earned the save, his 3rd.
Early in the game, Morales had a 2-run double for Azua. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Zafiros Blanco on top, 2-0.
"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Morales told the Azua Daily News.
Azua is now 22-11, while Puerto Plata is 11-23.
