The Charleston Statesmen have reclaimed their place atop the baseball world.

Now, the Charleston Statesmen are in the 2041 World Series after entering the postseason as a wild-card team.

With a hard-fought 4-2 victory in the World Series, the Charleston Statesmen secured their third championship in 27 years, following previous titles in 2010 and 2014.

“We’ve dreamed of this moment,” Jason Kim said during the celebration. “It’s been 27 years since our last title, and this one is for the fans who never gave up on us. Charleston baseball is here to stay.”
