Sutton Coming Back to Tempe
11/14/2007: Tempe, AZ – The Tempe Knights are bringing back veteran left-hander Daniel Sutton for a couple of minor league prospects. The 32-year-old will be a great help to the Knights revamped rotation and can serve as spot starter, set up man, or long reliever. Knights’ manager Cristián Vega was happy to have Sutton back and stated that, "His experience and professionalism will help our young staff learn how to win."
"Learn how to win" is something Tempe fans want their team to learn – and fast – because winning was a rarity last year, as Tempe almost set a Major League record for losses. However, Knights’ General Manager Chris Van Hauter likes the direction his team is going, boldly predicting that, " I can guarantee you this: We will not lose 100 game this year and we might surprise a lot of people."
