Montserrat Mystique Capture IBC Cup Thursday, October 16th , 2042 It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "to the victors go the spoils." For the victorious Montserrat Mystique, that meant the Intercontinental Baseball Coalition IBC Cup trophy. The Mystique took a 6-5 victory over the Djibouti Soldato at Soufriere Hills Park, winning their 2nd championship after taking the series 3-2. "We've got grit," said Mystique catcher Oliver-John Newton, who was named MVP of the series. "We know how to win when we have to."
